Cars sell here for what they are worth.
Kept builds the listing from your documents and your own answers, then opens the bidding to enthusiasts who can read both.
A car is priced on what a buyer can see. Kept makes everything visible: deep photography, the service history, the NATIS papers, and the answers you give on the record.
We ask the questions your model is known for: the rear main seal, the subframe mounts, the cam belt interval that matters on yours. Then we write the listing from your answers and open the bidding to people who already know what the car is worth. 87% of cars listed here sell. Listing is free and we take nothing from the hammer.
The price is that you answer for the car in public, on the record. Sellers who do that are the ones who get paid for how good the car actually is.
Tell us what you have and why it's worth looking at. We don't run every car, and that is the point: a car on Kept has already cleared a bar. We judge whether the car interests enthusiasts, not what condition it is in. Any era, no price floor.
Six questions every Kept seller answers, plus a set our tools build for your model from its documented failure points. Answering properly is how you get paid properly: a car whose faults are on the record is worth more than one a buyer has to guess about. You can decline anything, but declines are published as declines.
We write the copy from your answers, photographs and documents, in our own voice, and you approve it before it runs. Our tools know what makes your car matter: which stamps in the book count, why the badge on the boot changes the number. Your known flaws go in as you stated them, neither softened nor added to.
This is the part that matters. While your car is open, you answer questions in the comments yourself. People who have owned your model will find things. A seller who goes quiet is the strongest signal a buyer can read.
The buyer pays a fee on top of your price. You and the buyer settle the car itself directly, and we introduce you once the car closes.
Fees
| Listing | Free |
| Seller commission | None. The seller keeps the hammer price |
| Buyer’s premium | 5% on top of the hammer, capped at R 75,000 |
| No-sale | No fee |
Kept only earns when a car sells, and only from the buyer. We have no reason to talk your car up and no stock competing with yours. A dealer and a private seller answer the same questions, in the same thread.

Start with the check. Tell us what you have and we will say whether it clears the bar, and what cars like it have made here. We read every submission ourselves, and we will tell you either way.
